Child, youth and adult immunizations, vaccine information, including vaccination risk-benefit education are available through the Immunization Program. Vaccines are available through ongoing community immunization clinics. Seasonal flu vaccine is offered annually through special flu vaccine clinics and at the community immunization clinics.

Vaccine information and education are available to all Calaveras residents.


What are the eligibility criteria for vaccination?

Immunizations are provided to:

         Individuals Under 19 years of Age Who Are:

    • Uninsured
    • Medi-Cal/CHDP
    • American Indian or Alaska Native

        Individuals 19 Years of Age and Older Who Are:

    • Uninsured
    • Have insurance that does not cover Tdap or MMR

All Individuals without Restrictions for Seasonal Flu Vaccine

Flu vaccine clinics are scheduled annually           

Is there a cost for the service?

        There is a $26.00 administration fee for each vaccine administered.

    • No one who is eligible to receive vaccine is denied immunization services due to inability to pay.
    • Medi-Cal is accepted.
    • Medicare Part B is accepted for flu immunization.
